Tintin in the Land of the Soviets (1930) is the first volume in Herge’s The Adventures of Tintin. In this introduction to our hero, Tintin is a cub journalist sent to the USSR for his first story. Tintin and his faithful dog Snowy discover the dark side of communist Russia and has to dodge traps set by the secret police.
This book was first translated into English in 1989 – this is the 1999 English version.
This adventure was never coloured, so this book is in black and white and is a softback.
